is a city-wide mail art project. We send you a handmade miniature 20-page sketchbook, you fill it up & send it back. All participants are included in the exhibition and catalog.
Come out to our old warehouse at 822 Rozelle St. for an encore viewing of this year’s Project Sketchbook submissions! Over 100 sketchbooks will be on display 6-9p tonight & 2-5p Saturday. Donors can pick up their perks, sweet ass Project Sketchbook shirts, buttons & catalogs will be for sale, and if you so desire, you can cut your sketchbook down and take it with you.

ANNOUNCEMENT!: Project Sketchbook 2012 will be on exhibition this year in conjunction with Live From Memphis’ Music Video Showcase 7, which is for the first time its own weekend-long festival.
This year’s sketchbooks will be displayed in the Power House at 45 GE Patterson, sponsored by ArtsMemphis! Opening night is Friday, March 2 from @5p. Gallery hours are Friday noon-9p & Saturday noon-8p.
There will be merch for sale at the gallery, including Project Sketchbook 2012 t-shirts, buttons, prints, catalogs, and limited edition sketchbooks. Donors that contributed via the Indie GoGo funding campaign will have perk bags waiting for them at the gallery.
Hope to see all our local artists at the exhibition! And we can’t wait to receive all the sketchbooks back.
